25+ YEARS OF EXPERIENCE
Each stage changed how I think about business — and how I make decisions.
Major organisations taught me how infrastructure, customers and commercial decisions connect.
Scale. Reliability. Accountability.
Wholesale taught me to look beyond the product and understand the whole commercial system.
Supplier. Partner. Customer. Route to market.
Different environments repeatedly taught me that the technically obvious answer isn't always the right one.
One size rarely fits all.
I've worked through the shift from copper to fibre and analogue to digital.
Products change. Networks change. Needs change.
Psychology changed how I thought about communication, attention and decision-making.
Understand the person first.
AI lets me challenge an idea from perspectives I might otherwise miss.
AI can advise. The human still decides.
AI reduced the distance between having an idea and being able to build it.
Direction matters more than doing everything yourself. How I think
I've always looked at the bigger picture. I notice patterns and connections between things that can initially seem unrelated.
People, technology, behaviour, process, time and opportunity rarely sit in isolation. One thing often affects another.
For years, seeing so many possibilities could become overwhelming. I learnt ways to cope with that, but the ability to see the connections was always there.
AI changed what I could do with them. I can explore an idea further, test whether the pattern is real, challenge my assumptions and look at the same problem from different perspectives before deciding what matters.
A jack of all trades is a master of none, but oftentimes better than a master of one.
Welcome to LT Academy
I created LT Academy because good people can find themselves out of work through redundancy, restructuring or a change in industry. Losing a job doesn't mean losing your ability.
I don't believe people need years of technical experience to build a career with Let's Talk. Technology can be learned. What matters more is curiosity, judgement and the ability to have a good conversation.
LT Academy gives people the structure, knowledge and support to develop those skills and understand how we work. AI and technology support them rather than replace what makes them valuable.
For me, it is another part of the same idea behind Let's Talk: give capable people the opportunity to do meaningful work and keep developing.

I believe there’s a better way to help good people build
meaningful careers.
